Appointment Times

Please note that every effort is made to see patients on time. A late arrival may mean a shortened visit or the need to reschedule your appointment.

Please be aware of your physician's specific details regarding cancelling/rescheduling appointments.

A fee may incur for no show visits and/or short notice cancellations.

Behaviour

At Rouhani Medical, we strive to treat all with courtesy and respect. We expect the same in return. Inappropriate speech or manner will not be tolerated and will result in being asked to leave the premises immediately if in person or the call terminated if on the phone.

Food/Drinks Not Permitted

Please note that no food or drink is allowed other than water in a closed container.

Footwear

Please be aware that wet/muddy footwear must be removed upon arrival. Slippers are available for your use. Alternatively, you may bring your own dry footwear for indoor use.

Fragrance Free Environment

Please note Rouhani Medical is a fragrance free environment.

Interpreters

If you are not comfortable with the visit being conducted in English, please arrange for an interpreter to accompany you for your visits. This includes sign language interpretation.

Medications

Please bring all medications to your doctor's appointments.

Prescription Requests

Please note that an appointment is required to review medications prior to refill authorization. In rare circumstances, it may be possible to request a short term refill until you can be evaluated. Controlled substances will NOT be renewed without an appointment.

Test Results

Please schedule an appointment with your doctor to review results.

Request for Documentation

Please first discuss with your primary care provider.  If indicated, a fee will apply as OHIP does NOT pay for document/form completion. Payment can be made via cash/etransfer and is due in advance. Prices are based on the Fee Guide as per the Ontario Medical Association current year's fee schedule for OHIP non-insured services.
