Are appointments covered by OHIP?
Appointments are covered by OHIP. Missed appointment and short-notice-cancellation fees are not covered by OHIP and are payable via e-transfer. A valid health card is required for all appointments with the Physicians. It is the Patient/Guardian's responsibility to ensure the clinic has uptodate health card information on file prior to any scheduled appointments.
I need to have a formal assessment completed for ADHD. Can you help?
No. Assessments can only be completed by a Psychologist (non-OHIP covered). No referral is needed and can be self initiated either via your child's school board (if applicable) or can be sought and paid for privately.
Do I need to have a formal assessment performed to discuss treatment options?
Formal assessments are needed for documentation purposes. Treatment options can be discussed if you meet CADDRA guidelines which are determined via self-report and supporting documentation (report cards, from family, teachers, etc.)
I need forms filled out for ADHD for my school/work. Can you complete these for me?
As no formal psychoeducational assessments are performed, no documentation can be provided.
I need a refill on my prescriptions. Can she just renew and send to my pharmacy?
An appointment is needed to discuss all medical issues, including any medication renewals.
Can I just email the doctor my questions?

Do you have a cancellation list?
Yes, please ask to be placed on a list to be emailed with any earlier openings.
Will Dr. Rouhani become my permanent doctor?
Dr. Rouhani sees patients until an appropriate treatment plan has been determined, with care then transferred back to your Family Doctor or Nurse Practitioner.
I don't have a Family Doctor, can I still be seen?
No. Dr. Rouhani sees patients until an appropriate treatment plan has been determined, with care then transferred back to your Family Doctor or Nurse Practitioner. Patients who do not have a Primary Care Provider cannot be accommodated. An initial consultation may be scheduled once a primary care provider is in place to take over care.
